So London has no shoes and she really needed some so I went on a hunt to find out how to make them. I call them her Mokeey Shoes. I just have to say it has been my favorite project so far and I LOVE THEM. I call them her Mokeeys.
I know I'm CRAZY but here I go on another adventure. I am now also SELLING these cute little MOKEEY SHOES for $20. If you are interested click HERE and order yourself a pair:)
I made it so you can switch out the flowers so you can match the flower to the outfit.

Dress #2

Yesterday I bought a sewing machine. NO I never had my own. I have been borrowing my mother in laws for the last 4 months, thanks Terri!:) Well not anymore. Riley was on KSL and found a huge garage sale. I guess this old lady died and she was a sewing nut, LUCKY ME! Well they were selling 3 of her sewing machines and tones of fabric, thread, and sewing stuff that you never knew you ever needed until you had it;) I got it all!!!!! The sewing machine is a Singer Touch and Sew and is in PERFECT condition! Not only did she have the machine but ALL of the original pieces that went with it, 4 little boxes full of every part including lint brushes and oil to oil the machine. Those old ladies took such good care fo their things! The sewing machine is built into a table and she sold it all to me for $30!!! Well as soon as I got home I had to try it out and I LOVE it.

I made London another dress. Poor London and all of her fitting at such a young age, she is going to need therapy for sure;) This dress is also made out of one of Riley's old shirts.
That tong is always out now a days.

On this one I did little puckered pockets, LOVE THEM:)

I made the band shorter so that I could just tie it into a knot and have the same look as a bow but make it look a little different and a little stiffer, I like it better.
These little leg warmers turned out so cute. I got some long socks from the dollar store and cut off the feet and sewed the buttons on the ankles.

The little flower is made out of the feet from the socks, it was so cute on her at church today. This poor little girl is going to have so many dresses. Watch her turn out to be one of those cute girls that won't ever wear a dress, it would be just my luck;)

Creative Kick

So I am in love with sewing. I Made two things this afternoon that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!
I am so into vintage, if it even resembles it in the slightest then i am totally in!! My first creation was from a pair of long johns that I got from the dollar store. They only had size 3T so it's a little big but I'm still in LOVE with it. I took the pants and cut them up so i had 6 little strips and gathered them and then sewed them onto her shirt. Then I made the little flower for the corner with a few rhinestones. Well this is how it turned out:)

My second creation was from one of Riley's old dress shirts. I cut off the arms and the bottom half, gathered it, made some straps, and a top band and created it into a little dress for London. I made the little flower and her head band to go with it. It is SOOOOOO CUTE on her. I'm excited to figure out something to go under it for the fall, the colors are so good for this time for year. I took like 35 pics, and they don't even do it Justice. Here she is:)

Flower Project

So I get into these moods where all I want to do is make things, I really can't help it. So tonight this is what I came up with. I'm sure that you have seen these flowers somewhere but I wanted to make some for myself. They are so EASY and so much FUN!!!

1st thing I did was find some scrap fabric and an old shirt that is so UGLY on me (This shirt also has plans to become a little dress for London.) Then I cut it up and started sewing. This is what I came up with:) P.S. I know that I look SPECIAL but that's kinda who I am, very SPECIAL,(now say it with a lisp, there ya go.)

I made a bunch for London but she was asleep so she couldn't model them but they look so cute on her. I am in the process of making a vintage purse and and they are going to go on there too, so much fun:)

Its Official

A few days ago I made a HUGE discovery. It may seem trifle or a bit pathetic but it was a major leap for me. For the last 6 months I have thought, “If I would have had the twins separate it would have been better for everyone. They would get more attention, I would be a better mother and life would be so much EASIER!!!” Well I have changed my tune. I don’t know how or why but I wouldn’t want my life any different than it is today. The twins are just that, twins, and they were meant to come together and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE having them together.

They are now starting to watch each other and play with each other and it amazes me that they actually know one another. The other day Dane was accidentally hitting a bag of wipes and London thought he was hilarious, she giggled like I have never seen her giggle. All I know is that I LOVE my twins and I LOVE that they are a part of one another. They are a part of one another in a way that can’t be described in words and they are so lucky to have each other.

I am so grateful that I was lucky enough to get to experience two babies at a time; it’s something so different and so wonderful. For all the EXTRA weight, crying, car seat carrying, formula, diapers, wipes, time, shopping carts, staring, and frustration I get the EXTRA giggles, loves, smiles, cuddles, and those undeniable PERFECT MOMENTS. It’s sad that it took me this long to figure this out but its official, I NEED my TWINS.

HALLOWEEN

HALLOWEEN, can i just say that this year has been my MOST FAVORITE Halloween EVER and it's not even Halloween yet! I think kids make every Holiday better. Jack was so excited to wear his Dash costume, and he wears it EVERY WEAR:)

This year MaRea had a Murder Mystery and it was SO much fun! Jack I was a scary clown and Riley was Freddy Kruger. London and Dane were little monsters and I couldn't get enough of them, I mean could they be any cuter?!! I took them outside by the coop and took some pics, I couldn't help myself:)

London in my wig, we like to torture our kids;)

Before scary Makeup, and that cold sore it REAL people.
SO sad:(
After scary makeup, yep that's me. I did my makeup, can't ya tell;)

Riley looked awesome, he looked online and figured out that if you mix gelatin with water you can make that yucky stuff on his face.

Carsen and Jack, aka Indiana Jones and Dash

That witch is my MOM. Out of everyone at the party she was the most AMAZING!! Isn't she cute?

My sisters friend made these eyeballs, they tasted really good too:)

My cousin made these, SO CUTE!!

I have to say that they turned out so yummy. If you want to know how to make these little guys let me know, they are SOOO EASY!

Jack wouldn't take the costume off. He had it on all the way to the farm:)

He is SO YUMMY!!!!!!
