Twins Baby Blessing

Today we blessed the twins. Riley did such a good job and the babies were so good for him. Most of both of our families came, it was so sweet for them to drive all the but crack way out here to support us, Thanks you guys!!! I was afraid that my little house wouldn't fit the masses but it was perfect. Today was such a great day.
I wish that we could have gotten a picture of Riley and I switching babies at the front of the chapel. We are really good at the one armed switch now. When we switched everyone was holding their breath then once the switch was over you could hear people in the audience laughing.

You will notice that in the family picture Jack is his white trash nude self. From the second that we stepped into the house after church it took about 5 min for him to get totally and completely drenched for the sprinklers. Therefor our boy is only in his diaper but he sure did have fun. Lesson to be learned, take pictures of family before you leave for church!

Yes Jack is naked, he just couldn't resist the sprinklers. Can ya blame him, I wish I could strip down to my skibbies and run through the sprinklers myself......your picturing it now aren't you, I know you wish you could look that good:)

That is so their personalities, SO CUTE!
"What you talk'in About Willis?"

Cute Lindy and Mason

Thatcher family smooshed into my little living room:)

Dane: "Are you sure about this mom?" London: "Oh suck it up ya big baby."

Grandma Terri lovin little Dane.

I GOT SCAMMED

The other day I was at Smiths and a woman came up to me and was looking at the twins. She told me her Husband was a photographer and asked if I had pictures taken of them yet. I told her that I had a few photographers do free photography of the twins because they hadn't ever taken pictures of twins before. At that she told me that she would like to do the same. What kind of idiot would turn down free photography? I gave her my number thinking I would never hear from her again. A few days later she called and we arranged a time to take the pics. After we took the pics I went back to her house to look at them. Well that's when I found out I had be suckered into this whole thing. Each picture was at least $20. I about died. I had 2 full discs at home of pics of the twins, I didn't NEED more. I explained that they other photographers that had taken pics of the twins had done them for free and that was what I was expecting, well to make this already too long of a story short let’s just say that I still bought 2 pics. 2 pictures for $40 and I didn't get to reprint them if I wanted to, I had to go back to them to get them reprinted. When I left I called Riley and he fixed the problem for me. He called them and told them to cancel the order.

I'm just disgusted that someone would totally lie to you in order to get business. I'm ever more disgusted with myself that I didn't just call them out on it and leave right after I found out that I had been played. So the moral of the story is always known what you are getting yourself into. If someone comes up to you in the grocery store and wants to take pics of your kids for free make sure that it really is for free. I got SCAMMED, so pathetic!

A little Voo-Doo

I have to say a little Voodoo goes a long way. My little Dane has been quite the vocal baby. I was about to totally and completely loose it when I talked to my mom and she mentioned that I go see a Refelexologist. For those of you who have never heard of this I will explain. A reflexologist goes through pressure points in the feet to help explain and fix whatever physical problems you may have, they call it Zoning Well let's just say I was all over the idea, at this point I was willing to sell my soul if it meant that Dane would be a happier baby. Last Wednesday I went to Logan and had Dane looked at. It was amazing!! As she was zoning she started to tell me things about Dane that I knew but hadn't shared with her at this point. Poor Dane was in so much pain, he had so many problems one of them being that he had a head ache. It was sad to listen to him scream as she rubbed his feet but when it was all over with she handed him to my mom and he just sat there. If you have been abound this little man you would know that he NEVER just sits there content. For the rest of the time while she zoned London and me he sat there just looking around. Both me and my mom were in shock. I thought that maybe it would be just temporary and that he would slowly revert back to his old ways but I was WRONG. I am loving being wrong. Dane is a SMILEY baby, whenever he smiley it makes me want to cry because now I know he was crying because he was always in so much pain. Thank heavens for a little VooDoo!

One of the things she told me was that he was Lactose Intolerant, just like his mommy:( She told me to put him on goats milk so I did and I think this has a lot to do with his new personality. Have any of you used goats milk and if you have how did it go and did you use any other supplements? Thanks!
I think people should know that in the last few weeks it hasn't been my fault that I have been so scatter brained. When she was working her magic on me she told me that my brain has been put to VERY LITTLE use for the last little while, do ya think? It is SOOOO TRUE! Brain, what brain, never heard of the guy.

Tender Mercies

Today was just one of those days where you think that you may not make it. Ya know when it seems like your whole day is just one big prayer, "Please bless that I don't completely loose it" kind of day. Dane is a fussy baby and I haven't ever experienced that before, Jack was a dream baby. Then when you add another baby on top of a colicky baby already it makes for quite the experience. After a few weeks of little to no sleep I had just had it. I had everyone loaded up and out the door to go do some grocery shopping. I pulled into Costco and was hoping against all hope that I wouldn't have to walk a mile through the parking lot with two car seats and a little man wanting to escape. Much to my delight I pulled in and there was a little present waiting for me, A FRONT ROW PARKING PLACE!!! I know it may not seam like a lot but it meant the world to me and I couldn't help but cry a little and say another little pray of gratitude. It was like the Lord was telling me that he remembered my pathetic little trials and that he was still there giving me just one more tender little mercy. Who knew that a parking space could mean so much?
