Today Jack, Lodon, Dane and myself went to Discovery Gateway. We met up with MaRea, Avery and Kaden. It was so cute because Kaden came running in saying "Wheres Jack, where's Jack!!" Jack came calling with his arms wide open, "I'm right here Kaden!!!" Then he hugged Kaden until Kade said, "Ok, Ok Jack!" he was done with the hug;) Jack and Kade had such a good time running around together and I had a WONDERFUL time chatting with MaRea and feeling like an adult again.
Well once we were finished we walked back out to the van and loaded everyone back into the car. It was SO COLD at this point so I was trying to move thing along as fast as I could. I finely get everyone in the van and we were off and onto the highway. I was chewing on some ice when I see a bouncing little head move in my direction. I was so confused!!! What the tar was going on? Next thing I know Jack is right next to me saying, "Mom, can I have some of your ice?" I was going about 75 now and I totally freaked out. I'm thinking, "Why is he out of his seat, who did this awful thing?" Then it dawned on me that it was I, my head was full of fluff and no brains AT ALL!!!! I quickly sent him back to his seat,(without the ice) and told him to not move a muscle. I was scared spit-less! Needless to say we pulled of the highway, ( the twins had finely fallen asleep, that was about to end) and got him back into his car seat.
There are times when my head DOES NOT WORK!!! Today was one of those times:) People always say that when your pregnant your brain fails you and it's VERY true. But I must say that my brain now in contrast to my 1st pregnancy brain losses by MILES!!! I would take 1st pregnant brain over this old thing any day of the week! I am hoping that one day it will work again to it's full capacity and I am aware that this hope is quite delusional but I will always continue to hope for a better tomorrow:)
A few pics from our trip:)
