White Trash Pool and Stinky Breath

Here at the Smith home we have no fear of embracing the White Trash side. In fact I kinda relish in it, it's one of those things that just feel so good every once in a while. Well today was one of those wonderful, glorious, white trash inspired days. We have a little sand box that we built on the side of our house and well we turned it into a pool today. The kids were still in there cloths and when the sand box accidentally filled up with water I couldn't think of a more fun thing than getting dirty and embracing that wonderful white trash in me. So here are the kidos in their new found pool, they LOVED IT!!!! And so did I!!!

The other morning Jack climbed into bed with me. I started talking to him and he started dry heaving, like he was really going to throw up. I told him to go to the bathroom if he was going to puke and he said, "It's...............just..................that your............breath," gasp, cough, dry heave, "it's..............so................STINKY!!!" I'm so glad that I have my little monster to tell me the cold, hard, stinky facts. Thanks Jack!

My Clever Little Jack

There are days that Jack doesn't want to eat his breakfast but then wants to eat all day so I being the mean mom that I am have made a rule that when he doesn't eat breakfast he can't eat till lunch time. Well today was one of those days. This is where my clever little man shows up. I come into the kitchen at around 10 and Jack says "Mom look at this clock," this would be the clock on the wall that doesn't have a face plate so you can move the dials with your fingers. So I look at the clock and it says 11:55. as I'm trying to to figure out what time it really is Jack continues to explain his interest in the clock. "it's now time for me to eat lunch, you see this clock mom?" I couldn't help laugh at his cute self, I mean how devious could he be?;) He got p on the chair and changed those hands himself. I thought he was so cute and clever that I kinda wanted to give him some food but instead he went to time out for trying to manipulate the situation. So even though he got into trouble I really was kinda proud of him for using his head. What a mutt he is, oh I just LOVE this mutt!!!

No Touchy!!!

The other day we were driving in the car on our way home from church and Jack was telling us how Primary was. This is what our conversation was.

Jack: "Mom, Dad, I made some new friends, they are girls and they are my girlfriends."
Me: "Oh really?"
He said this next line like he was just he was telling me his favorite color, it was just matter of fact.
Jack: " Ya, tI old them they can't touch my penis."

And that was it. Riley and I couldn't stop laughing. I wish I could have been there and seen the look on the teachers face, I can only imagine what she must have been thinking. Can you tell that we have been teaching him about good and bad touch? So if you are ever told that you may not touch, just consider yourself warned, lol:) I JUST LOVE THAT JACK!!!!

Not a Good Idea!!!

Before the incident, it's a good thing they are so dang CUTE!!!

MaRea and I were at Gateway on Monday and Jack and Kaden were playing in the fountain in their swim trunks. They were running around and then they suddenly disappeared. I was looking everywhere till my eyes rested upon two little boys just standing next to the grass. This grass of course is fenced off, it obviously was not to be messed with. Next thing I know I see two little streams of pee flying ever so gracefully through the air. I then realized they were peeing on the "not to be harmed" grass. I turn to MaRea and tell her what is going on and she says, "At least they chose the grass!" I laughed, she was right:) I went over to them and the deed was said and done. It was just a little embarrassing, lol;) Next time .......................well lets just hope there isn't a next time.

Happy B-Day London & Dane

From this to them!!!!

Today London and Dane tern ONE!!!! As I looked back at their baby pics I got so anxious, I just kept thinking, "Please bless that doesn't happen again!" BUT it was well worth it. Happy Birth Day my little babies.

DANE: This little boy is so SWEET!! He scooted forever but has finely started crawling now. This little boy loves his daddy so much, when Riley walks in the door he started to cry because he wants Riley to pick him up so bad. He loves his sister and older brother, he watches for Jack in the morning. HIs belly button has totally fixed itself, his fishhook will need to be operated on next year, and his hemangioma never got bigger and it's barley visible. We couldn't imagine life without him:)

LONDON: This little thing already has an attitude. She will SCREAM when she wants something or if Dane gets to close. She also gets very excited when she sees Dane but he just can't get too close, so funny. London is attached to her mommy but adores her daddy. She is a very smiley little girl and she snuggles up every time you pick her up then wiggles herself left and right, so cute. London is a talker, she has so much to say in so little time:) We love this little mutt so much, don't know what we would do without her!!

Birthday Party pics to come:)

California Trip

We drove to California this last week and stayed with my brothers there. Jack got to play with his cousins and we got to enjoy the warm weather. The drive there was surprisingly fabulous, the babies were so good ad Jack was content watching movies. The trick for us is to always drive at night so that the kids sleep.
This was taken about 11:30 at night in the car on the drive there. London was doing one of her blood curdling screams and the look on both of their faces explains how we all felt.
After the beach, like 2 min after the beach
Jack was out in like 3 min, the sun takes a lot out of ya
This is at Mark and Shars house, they are so cute

We drove to Newport Beach and the kids LOVED it! Almost as much as Riley:)
So happy to be outside in the sand

Oh the things you can do when your stuck in LA traffic for 4 hours, you can even make bottles.
Jack had SO MUCH fun with his cousins Logan and Clair. At this point they were playing "Tea Party" and singing about it at the same time.

I have to tell you about a conversation that Jack and Clair had.
Jack: "Clair do you have a sword?"
Clair: "Princesses don't have swords, they wear dresses and dance with the princes."
What was Jack thinking, that's just common knowledge;)

This is Stew the dog, Dane LOVED Stew. He would catch a glimpse of him and giggle and head off towards him. Stew on the other had was not a fan of Dane, lol. Poor, Poor Stew:)
Yes this is me on a golf cart at Rite Aid:) It was a moment for me and I had to capture it. Mark and Shari live right by one and they drive there all the time on their golf cart. So funny and so much fun!!! Thanks Mark and Shar, you guys are awesome and we LOVE you so much!
