We have been going back and forth from Logan to Eagle Mountain and here are a few of the pics that were taken along the way. I am way behind because I couldn't find my camera:)

Well deserved tubby after a very long day of getting filthy dirty at the farm, such a lucky boy :)

Dane NEVER falls asleep in any one's arms so I had to document this.

We visited Grandpa Deano and had some Arbys sandwiches with him, we LOVE Grandpa Deano!
My niece Meghan with the Twinners, she is so dang cute!

Grandma Terri ALWAYS wanted to drive a tractor so we had a little get together at the farm and she drove that thing around to little hearts content:)

FLAWED

Have you ever known someone is just PERFECT? One of those do no, say no, think no wrong type people? Then there are those witty people, I just love those witty people but really secretly I hate them because I want to be one of them. No worries, one glorious day I will be one of them. But until that day I am just me, wonderfully, gloriously, unbelievably FLAWED. Here I go……..

You see most women I know are HARD on themselves. They PICK at themselves all the time, always working to become something more (there is much sarcasm in that sentence.) They feel bad for saying, thinking, doing, or about to do wrong. Here is the FLAW, I DON’T, I just don’t care that much!!! Can you see the problem???? IF I do something wrong I simply say, “Better luck next time Linds” and yes I actually do say this out loud. In fact I think this BIG flaw of mine is kinda cute, and FUNNY as **** (oh boy there is another flaw that I just don’t care that much about); do you see how deluded I am? IF I hurt someone’s feeling I usually don’t even know it, if I think something wrong I feel guilt only about……. 25% of the time. I’m comfortable with who I am, where I’m going and what my life is all about. I’m comfortable; like sitting at the beach with a Diet Coke in hand that has one of the umbrellas TOO comfortable. I have lots of FLAWS but this one is my biggy because if I don’t fix this little bugger then this vicious cycle will never end and I SHOULD be getting dizzy. Yes I know I’m seriously screwy.

So here is my PLAN OF ACCTION. Once a month I will divulge one of my flaws, I obviously have no problem with this because as you can see I really don’t care: ) I just laughed at that last sentence…..so sad. I am hoping that by doing this I will see, FEEL and maybe repair my brain. So this is FLAW #1, the “I don’t give a wild hoot” flaw. I’m sure that I have enough to last the next few years. My friends……..wish me luck (add much seriousness to that last sentence.)

Just a LITTLE hysterical

So today I was driving into Salt Lake on my way to teach scrapbook classes at the Sandy Expo Center and I had a small misfortune. I get going about 65mph and the hood to the Camry shoots up and hits the windshield, flies up smashes the top of the car and soars through the air and almost smacks the car behind me. I mean REALLY…..who does this happen to? The answer to this question is ME, lol! As I was pulling over I saw a truck with two men sitting in it watching the whole thing, and they were LAUGHING. WHAT THE? This is the point where I was just a LITTLE hysterical. I pulled off to the side of the road and had myself a good, long, pathetic cry. Never mind the fact that I had to teach 40 women a class in an hour, I just sat and cried: ) I cried because I was so happy that I was still alive, I cried because I didn’t know what to do, I cried because I was so grateful that nobody was hurt, I cried because I was scared out of my freaking MIND, and I cried because those guys were LAUGHING at me, lol!

A few days ago Riley washed his phone so guess who didn’t have a phone; once again I’m sure you can answer that question. I turn around, drove to the nearest gas station and used their phone to call Riley to have him come help my pathetic little soul. I drove back to the scene of the accident and saw my hood sitting in the middle of the road. It was like a shining beacon for all the world to see. I drag my sad self out of my car to retrieve the destroyed hood. The way that baby sang through the air I thought that it was going to be light, once again I was WRONG. Those bad boys are heavy! Here I am bent over dragging it off the road, crack exposed for all to see, face covered in mascara, now this is some funny *****.

From there everything got better. The hood is gone, the car is home, someone taught my class till I could get there and I’m still alive. I mean could things get any better than that? All is well in the land of Zion. Lessen learned? ALWAYS make sure that when someone charges the battery to their car from your car that the hood is shut tightly:)

CraZy LaDy On AisLe NinE!!!

I was shopping today at Wal Mart and I couldn't go two steps without Dane or London or Jack yelling at me. Here I am with my two shopping carts taking up all the room everywhere I go and I’m stopping every two seconds trying to help whoever is in NEED. Dane decided that he is hungry, (not that he doesn’t always think he is hungry, I mean seriously look at the chunk) in the middle of our shopping trip so I stop and make a bottle. I have nothing to prop the bottle with so I go on a scavenger hunt through my diaper bag. Guess what I found, a pear of Jacks underwears. Thomas the Train of course and don’t ask me if they were clean because I have no idea, desperate times call for desperate measures. I also found an empty bag of baby wipes, yes it was quite a pathetic sight to see :) So with my MacGyver skills I makeshift a little prop for the bottle. It fell every time he moved but it got me ten steps ahead of where I was previously standing. Women and even men looking at me with that “You poor thing, what the hell where you thinking” look, oh so sad. Tears, tears and more tears. Ahhhhhhhhhh, “Crazy lady on aisle nine, CRAZY lady on aisle nine, this one might just LOOSE it on aisle nine, watch out EVERYONE on aisle nine.” I just smile, cry on the inside and move along.

These are the moments that I MUST write about so that next time I say something silly like “Honey lets have another baby,” he can pull this bad boy out and "gently" remind me of what life is like with little ones.

Don’t get me wrong I really do love my little people to pieces; I seriously can’t seam to get enough of them. But I have my moments and when they are this ridicules I feel as though I must share. Just in case you have ever used underwear’s to prop a bottle because now you know you’re not alone:)

5 Years of the Best Life Ever

Today is me and Riley’s 5th anniversary. It was a little sad but very sweet. I'm in Logan recovering from my surgery and Riley is in SLC working. I got flowers and thought that is was just to help me feel better sooner, I'm the one who forgot about our anniversary, talk about pathetic.

I have been thinking about our life together for the last 5 years and I realized that I am happier than I ever thought one woman deserved. 5 Years, 3 kids, 2 (attempted) dogs and every year I just love him more and more and life just gets better and better. Riley has made some of my very worst days worth living, when he walks in the door after work just the sight of him makes my heart skip a beat, and with a simple smile he fills me with peace, love and unexplainable JOY . I love him, I love him, and I love him. He's my perfect fit, the other half that completes who I am. Where I lack he picks up the slack, where I falter he is constant, when I’m week he is strong. He’s MY Britches:) Still can't believe that he chose me.
